How do i check my transmission fluid bmw 2005?

I need to check my transmission fluid in my 2005 325 bmw and I can’t find the dipstick. How do you check it. A: There is no dipstick. But then again, BMW transmissions are designed to have “lifetime fill” transmission fluid that needs no maintainance. However, if you still need to check it, with a warm engine, you will have to put your car on a lift (to make sure the car is completely level while you’re below it). Open the transmission fill plug which is on the side of the tranny, about 3/4 way up. Undo the plug and the fluid should just be level with the fill plug hole, maybe *just* dripping out a little. There should be a drain plug and a fill plug on the transmission pan. If you warm up the car and park on a perfectly level surface and open the fill plug a small amount of oil should come out. If no oil comes out the level is low. Be absolutely certain you use the correct fluid if you need to top it up.
