How do i check my messages when i was away on messenger?
The only way that you can see old messages is IF you have archives turned on. If they are turned on then all you need to do is at the top of your messenger window click on Contacts then on Message Archive. This will bring up a new window where you can choose a name to view old chats you had with them. One thing to remember is that if you delete any of the archived messages you can NEVER retrieve them again!! If you do Not have Archives turned on then of course you will not be able to see any of your old messages. To turn them on Click on messenger then on preferences then on Archive and check the top selection ” Yes save all of my messages” hit apply and OK to save your changes. Now all your future messages will be saved so you can see them again.
