How do I check if a cell exists in the MicroStation cell library?
Proceed as follows: First, get the name of the cell you are looking for: 1. Open up the PRO600 library browser (menu: PRO600 -> Library -> Definition) 2. Locate the cell feature code number 3. Note the cell name in the column labelled Props for this feature code [cell name is all capitals and 6 or less characters in length (eg POLE)] Second, check if the cell is in the cell library: 4. Open up the cell library definition (menu: Element -> Cells) 5. Attempt to find the cell with given name in the column labelled Name If name exists and graphics show up on the right, then the cell exists in library. If no names show up at all, no cell library is attached; return to the PRO600 project (menu: File -> Close) and reattach the cell library. If names show up but not the given name, then probably the incorrect cell library is attached. If other systems do not have this problem, then try copying the cell library from one of those systems.
