You may have to set the identification code for the transmitter and collar. To do this simply turn the transmitter off, and the collar on push and hold the bad tone button, while doing this push and hold the on/off button the light will light, then release the on/off button the light blinks to show the code is sending, the light on the collar blinks 4 times to show the code is received. No synchronization of collar and transmitter is necessary to begin. Once batteries are charged and turned on, the transmitter and collar are ready to use.

Plug the battery charging end into the collar receiver and plug the AC adapter into a standard household outlet. Initial charge will take up to 10 hours and all subsequent charges should take 2 or more hours to completely charge the battery.
