The Kodak EasyShare C530 Digital Camera accepts four types of batteries as a power source: one non-rechargeable Kodak CRV3 lithium battery, two non-rechargeable Kodak AA ultra digital alkaline batteries, one rechargeable Kodak model KAA2HR Ni-MH digital camera battery and two rechargeable Kodak AA Ni-MH batteries. The only way to charge the C530 is by using rechargeable batteries.
