To be honest I don’t know how you managed that! The spell checker operates from Microsoft Word. If the Spell checker in that is set to English then it should be the same. To check that go into Word ► Tools ► Options ► Spelling & Grammar ► Custom Dictionary ► Dictionaries ► Language ► In the drop down select English (UK) ► OK Also the default Spell Checker for the computer is controlled by the Advanced setting in Regional and Languages in the Control Panel.
