Open Internet Explorer by clicking the “Start” button on the bottom left side of your screen, then “All Programs” and “Internet Explorer.” Click “Tools” on the Internet Explorer toolbar, then click on “Internet Options” to display the “Internet Options” dialog box. Click on the “Connections” tab to display your Internet connection settings. Notice the “Local Area Network (LAN) Settings” section toward the bottom of the dialog box. Click on “LAN Settings” to display your configuration options. Under the “Proxy Server” section, ensure that “Use a proxy server for your LAN” is checked, then fill in the “Address” and “Port” information for your proxy.
