HOW DO I CHANGE THE ICON SIZE ON MY DESKTOP?
hi emily to change the desktop icon size you need to change the desktop resolution from the current size to something a bit bigger,and to do this you should right click anywere on the desktop and select “personalize” and then click the “display settings” this will open the window were you can use the slider to change your resolution,and for most monitors the first resolution i would use is “1024×768″ which should improve the look of your desktop however if you wish it to be even smaller,the for 19 ” widescreen monitors choose the resolution “1440×900″ and for a standard 19″ monitor select 1280×1024 for smaller 17″ monitors you can also use 1280×1024 however for smaller 15” screens only select the 1024×768 resolution note : depending on your graphics card/adapter you can also change your resolution via the nvidia or ati control panels,you can access these aswell by right clicking anywere on the desktop and then selecting the appropriate graphic card control panel(ati use the catylyst co
