How do I change the default desktop picture for the guest account?

I want to change the desktop picture of the guest account so that it appears each time the guest account is used. I attempted to change the picture, however it reverted back to the default after I logged out and back in. Thanks very much for your help! I know this must be possible. I am not afraid to use terminal or login as root to modify system files.
