Remove the affixed oil drain-plug with a socket wrench and allow all of the oil to drain completely from the engine block.Tighten the Legacy’s Oil Drain-PlugReplace the old oil drain-plug gasket (which is a washer-like pad on the oil drain-plug) with a new one and firmly screw the oil drain-plug into the oil pan.Refill the Legacy With New OilRemove the oil fill cap, located beneath the hood of the vehicle near the front, and fill the vehicle with 4.5 quarts of SAE 5W-30 Motor Oil.
