Remove the Used 4Runner OilSet an oil receptacle (or open plastic container) beneath the 4Runner’s oil pan, located at the bottom of the engine. Unfasten the attached oil drain-plug and let the used oil drain into the oil receptacle.Secure the 4Runner Oil Drain-PlugRemove the old oil drain-plug gasket (located on the oil drain plug) and replace it with a new gasket; return the oil drain-plug to the oil pan, tightening the oil drain-plug firmly.Replenish the 4Runner Engine With Fresh OilUnscrew the oil fill cap from atop the engine block (near the front of the vehicle), filling the 4Runner with 5.5 quarts of SAE 5W-30 Motor Oil.
