Well you likely have a home Router that provides the wireless access. This router is probably a dlink or linksys type router. In order to change the password that you type to connect to your wireless ssid, you need to log on to the web interface of this router. I assume you have windows xp or vista. Go to the “Start Menu”, choose “Run” and type “cmd” and press “Enter”. (no quotes obviously). Type “ipconfig” and press “Enter”. Look for the section corresponding to your Wireless card and find the “Default Gateway”. This should be the IP Address of your Router. Let’s assume this number is “192.168.0.1”. Open up your web browser (internet explorer) and type “http://192.168.0.1” of course substituting for the appropriate numbers. You may have to do “https://192.168.0.1″ depending on your router”.
