Go into the email set up not the general set up and then you will be further able to structure it they way you want it.

I just got my first BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) a few days ago. I purchased the Blackberry Curve 8330 and went through the Setup Wizard. I set it up so it would automatically check for new emails, but now I want to have it check my email only when I want to check email rather than having it checked automatically. I cannot figure out how to change the setting. Please help!
