How do I change a band saw blade?
Removing the Old BladeAssure that the band saw is turned off and unplugged. Open the upper and lower cabinet doors. Turn the handle on the back of the saw to lower the upper guide wheel and remove any safety devices that hold the blade in place. Maneuver and remove the old blade from the upper saw guide. Swing the left side of the blade out of the cabinet and around the table top so that it is 90 degrees from the direction of the wheel. Slide the right side of the blade through the slot in the table and remove the blade from the saw. Dispose of it properly.Installing a New BladeThe new blade will install in reverse order. Slide the blade through the slot in the table and around the table and into the cabinet. Carefully place it upon the upper and lower wheels and maneuver it into the upper saw guide. Replace the plastic lower blade guide and any other safety features back into their original positions. Turn the handle on the back of the saw to raise the upper wheel and tighten it.Criti
