How do I caulk interior windows?

Use a Caulking GunClean and dry the window frame. Place a cartridge of caulk in a caulk gun. Don Vandervort’s Home Tips recommends using a silicone caulk because of its extended flexibility. If you must paint the surface, use an acrylic latex caulk with silicone. Cut the tip of the caulk tube at a 45-degree angle with a sharp knife. Place the tip of the tube on the edge of the window trim at a 45-degree angle. Pull the trigger on the caulk gun, and apply steady and even pressure. Pull the tip of the tube along the crack. Apply a bead of caulk around the entire window frame.
