To prevent rust on exposed steel surfaces, we recommend the application of a thin coating of a carnauba-based wax, followed by a light coat of oil. Brasso and Never Dull do a very good job of keeping the brass parts looking new. When using your gun in inclement weather, wipe it down thoroughly before storing it in a gun case.
