How do I care for and maintain the Rustic Natural Cedar products?
The Rustic Natural Cedar garden products may be stained or painted. If you prefer, you may let the wood weather naturally to a silver gray patina. Treated or untreated, the cedar will not warp or shrink. All cedar log furniture undergoes a normal process called “checking.” Checking – or a slight cracking through the outer growth rings – happens as the wood naturally expands and contracts to release moisture. Checking does not affect the integrity of the wood.
