OMB Memorandum M-10-08 specifies the methodology that should be used for determining the number of FTE for jobs reporting. It is important to consistently follow this methodology and retain documentation/information that supports the number of jobs reported. For salaried employees, only the portion of activities (expressed as a percent of an individual’s total activities) directly charged to an ARRA award should be used in calculating the FTE.
