How do I calculate the due date of my next period?

Are your cycles 28 days? Keep in mind that our health text books were wrong! Not everyone woman’s cycle is 28 days long! Although, that would make things alot easier. My cycles are about 35 – 38 days long. I started my period on March 22nd last month, so from March 22nd, I’d count 35 -38 days foward to see when my next expected period should be. So that’d bring me to April 25 – 27th, so my period should come then. It’s from the FIRST day of your last period. It can get confusing. It’s better to wait 2 or 3 cycles to see how long your cycles actually last. To do that, count from the first day of your period in April to the first day of your period in May, that’ll tell you how many days are in your cycle.
