How do I calculate how much and what to feed my horse while overnite on pleasure ride?
Feed her exactly what she gets now…which should be lots of hay and maybe a little extra grain (not much) for energy for an overnight trip. Whatever will remind her of home, you don’t want to upset her psyche or digestive system while you are away by giving her something other then what she is used to. Have fun.
