How do I calculate displacement in physics?
displacement is very simple to find:displacement is always the shortest path or distance traveled between two points. for example lets imagine two people are standing on the opposite ends of the circular ground.One person can reach other person on the other side of the circular ground by many ways but ideally he would like to go straight towards the other person.Reason is because its the shortest possible distance between these two guys.So it is called displacement as i said shortest path or distance between two points. so always remember displacement is aslo a distance only difference is that its shortes distance travelled and it always has some particular direction.thats why it is also called a vector because it has both magnitude and direction.dont panic if you dont understand last few lines i will elaborate it in detail later on. now if i talk about your home work then 1] ok first you move to point A from home which is 10 cm towards east. a]ok so distance travele is 10 cm b]now dis
