I get an error that reads “GetAddress Unspecified Error” while downloading from ViZapp or trying to communicate with the instrument. Not able to communicate using the Xmodbus OPC Server This can occur if the instrument is not on the bus (Modbus RS-232 or 485) or the instrument address is wrong in the Xmodbus OPC Server file (Device Address). Check the address of the instrument and make sure the instrument is on the bus. Make sure that the comm port parameters like baud rate, stop bits, data bits match between the instrument and the OPC Server Comm port configuration. Download or try to communicate again.
