How do I burn user program Flash on the EZ ADS?
The Flash is initialized to $200000 by EZ328NML.B when burning the flash only. After burning is completed, configure the ADS to normal mode and reset system (open S2-6,7; close all others), ADS will start fetching reset vector at Flash, which is $00000000. Your code can reconfigure the memory map then. It is OK if your code starts at $0. However, when you build the s-record, you need to offset your code to $200000 because the flash burning program will move your code from $200000 (DRAM space in bootstrap mode) to $400000 (Flash space in bootstrap mode). When you download b-record file to the ADS, make sure to use a pulse between each line sent. The echoes on the screen should be in the same format as the b-record text file. If you can download EZ328NML.B to ADS, it should be OK to use FLASH.OUT to burn the flash. Please do not load your code to monitor space ($0 to $4000). 2. I need some help clarifying the Flash programming process on the EZ demo system. I understand that on the EZ AD
