How do I burn songs in order with Windows Media Player?
In layman terms, when you burn a CD as an actual CD that can be used in a CD player, it’s burnt in order. As a data CD (like an MP3 disc), just think of the files being burnt in alphabetical order Edit – no, I’m afraid you cannot burn a data disc in the order you want them to playback in. A little trick however, is numbering all your songs, from 1 all the way to whatever. That way, alphabetically they will be in the numbered order. Bear in mind, if you plan to have more than 9 songs, you have to start the file as 01, and if you have more than 99, it has to start at 001 in order for it to be counted alphabetically properly, otherwise it’ll go 1, 11, 12, 13, etc.
