How do i build my running speed/stamina/endurance/power?
If you want to build endurance/power/speed, peform interval training. Interval training example follows: Run medium speed for 2 minutes Run full speed for 1 minute Do as many sets as possible. If your going to in the military you should have the balls to go until you puke. For stamina, just run at a steady pace for as long as possible. Start with 2 miles and work your way up from there. If you get tired after two minutes take a 10 minute break and go another two. Being in shape is not being able to run for a long amounts of time, its being able to regain your energy at a quicker pace. It is proven that interval training burns way more body fat than long distance running. Interval training will burn less muscle during work out and will boost your metabolism way more throughout the day. Long distance running will definitely strengthen your heart and lung power but the most common fallacy is that the greater the distance you run, the more calories you will burn. WRONG! As you run more and
