How do I build an indoor container garden?
The simplest indoor container garden consists of various plantlife in indoor containers. The very basics that you will need to start the garden are appropriate containers, good soil, and compatible plants. The containers can be cheap and plastic, and should have drainage holes (along with “drip pans” to pick up the drained water) along the bottom. They can be of any size, and there is no reason you have to limit yourself to one plant or even one plant type (as long as they’re compatible) per container as long as the container is big enough to handle it. Keep in mind, though that soil is HEAVY and that moving these things should be a consideration–they can’t be emptied out like a file cabinet, though a hand truck or dolly will help a lot.
