How do i build a wood drawer?
A solid wood drawer is built by using the dovetail method. The construction ensures for incredible strength, longevity and an aesthetically pleasing appearance. Cut the sides, back and front to the desired length making sure the sides are the same length and the front and back are the same length. Cut the drawer bottom 1 inch smaller than the dimensions of the finished drawer. Cut the tails first on both side pieces. Place the end of the edge board in the dovetail jig secured to the router table. Cut the tails on one side.
