Please, before you breed visit your local rabbit rescue, so that you understand the consequences; the cute babies you breed have a major chance of ending up there before living out their lifespan. Most homes aren’t perminant because most people don’t realize the amount of attention and care that a rabbit needs, and are suprised when their darling baby grows into a hormonal adult. There are so many rabbits in need of homes, and rabbits require so much care. There are more and more rabbits turning up in humane societies every day, if you look “rabbit” up on petfinder.com, you’ll find hundreds in various shelters. Many are in rabbit rescues, organizations that had to be created because people tried breeding rabbits without consideration for homes and overpopulation. Before I learned better I had an accidental litter in my rabbit (who also was a dwarf).
