How do i breed discus???
Well the best thing to do is to either buy a proven pair breeding discus, this will actually save you time but can be quite expensive. If this is not an option I would recommend raising a group of them about 6-7. Get them while they are small and raise them up, eventually you’ll notice that a some may start to pair off, when this happens you will need to seperate them. I would recommend putting them in about a 30g tank with a breeding cone, or you can just put a flower pot in the tank. Remember to keep the bottom of the tank bare, no need for substrates or sand. Ph should be kept low, I would aim at 6.3-6.5ph and the temp should be high about 84-86 degress. Always keep nitrate, nitrite levels at 0! If you get all these parameters right and they do lay eggs and they hatch, when the fry are about swimming, it would be best to put the parent back in the community tank, they may eat the fish or the fish will nip at the parent fins and such. As for the food, I recommend bloodworm and beefhe
