How do I book additional extras – when does the hirer pay for them?
Our car rental partners offer a range of additional extras that are not included in the standard rental cost. These include: child seats, ski racks and ski chains etc. At the booking stage of the online process (stage 3, after you have selected which car your hirer wishes to rent) there is a sub-heading of ‘choose accessories and other extras’. Your hirer will pay for any extras locally and in the local currency when they pick up the vehicle. Child seats are mandatory in most countries and must be requested at time of reservation – if this is done at least seven days prior to the hire start date we will guarantee this additional extra. Although instructions will be provided, the hirer will be required to fit the child seat. For older children, it is recommended that the hirer takes their own booster seats.
