How do I block unwanted text messages to my cellphone?
Hi, I too am encountering the same issues with my newly activated account. I’ve talked with and emailed 4 different customer service reps and they are trying to be helpful but to no avail in solving the root of my problem-to stop the unsolicited text messages from people I don’t know. I’ve blocked all emails to my phone in the settings as well as setting up spam filters by keying in a filter for each of the 71 text message senders I’ve received in the 3 weeks since I’ve had my new Samsung phone on T-Mobile’s service. This doesn’t seem to be working-I’m still receiving unwanted text messages from the same people. I know $7.10 may seem insignificant, but when you’re on a budget and specifically chose T-Mobile’s family plan for their claim of being the most competitively priced for the # of minutes offered, in addition to their “high level of customer service”, well, I expect to have a stress-free plan!
