How do I block unwanted text messages from e-mail or Web addresses?

1. Visit www.alltel.com/text_messaging/ and sign in to your account by entering your mobile number and password. If you have not registered at the site, you will need to request a password by selecting “Request Password” and following the prompts. A password will be sent to your phone in a text message. 2. After signing in, click “Message Blocking” 3. Within this area, you can enter up to 16 web sites, domain names, or email addresses that will be blocked from sending text messages to the customer. Please note that phone numbers cannot be blocked in this way. 4. You can also block all messages sent by any e-mail address or Web site by clicking the “No” buttons at the bottom of the page. If you are trying to stop Premium Messaging (i.e. joke of the day) that you are being billed for please either reply to one of the messages with “Stop” from your wireless phone or contact the Vendor providing the messaging.
