How do I become eligible for an EAP under the Classic Plan and Family Group Plan?
The student must provide confirmation from the Registrar’s Office of his or her full-time acceptance into an academic or professional program at a Recognized Institution. Students enrolled in a two-year program of study will be eligible for one (1) EAP: in the 2nd year level of the program. Students enrolled in a three-year program will be eligible for two (2) EAPs: one each, in the 2nd and 3rd year levels. Students enrolled in a four-year program will be eligible for three (3) EAPs: one each in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year levels. Students enrolled in two consecutive 2-year (or more) programs, without interruption, may be eligible all 3 EAPs. Co-op students may apply for EAPs as they enter their academic “A” or “B” terms. Students attending post secondary studies in Quebec: • The first EAP is available upon acceptance into either the 1st academic year level of a 90 credit Quebec university degree program (DEC complete); or • Acceptance into the 3rd academic year level of a technical CEGE
