How do I become certified to teach in Ontario if I hold teaching certification from another Province/ Country?

At the present time, the Province of Ontario has full reciprocal agreements with Prince Edward Island, Manitoba, Alberta, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Quebec and Nova Scotia. If you hold certification from other Provinces and/or from a foreign country, you must have the Ontario College of Teachers evaluate your credentials and transcripts to determine what, if any academic and/or professional requirements you still need in order to be granted certification to teach in Ontario. For such evaluations you should write to the Senior Evaluation Officer, Ontario College of Teachers, 121 Bloor Street East, 6th Floor, Toronto, Ontario M4W 3M5, or telephone 416 961-8800 for further information.
