It’s a great book to farmiliarse yourself with the different aspects of the animation industry. If you can, take all the life drawing courses you can get your hands on. You don’t need a specific degree, but studying animation is definitely a bonus. All you need to get into the animation industry is a great demo reel with examples of your animation in the area your interested in. be it classical, computer 2D, or computer 3D. The quality of your work is far more important then your education. Though I have heard from recruiters it’s easier to get international jobs if you have a physical degree.
