How do I become a tutor? Please help!?
Talk to some of your former elementary school teachers. Let them know that you would like to tutor and they may be able to pass your name and phone number along to parents. Also, ask the principal if you can post an information sheet on the bulletin board in the office so parents will see your name and number when they come in to pick up or drop off their students. In order to begin tutoring at such a young age you will need to talk to these adults so that parents will trust you with their children. Also, you’ll need to be able to tell parents where you want to do the tutoring. Your public library or the elementary school would be a good place to try. Good luck!
