How do I become a pro. violinist in an orchestra ???
The main thing to remember is that it’s very competitive. To get into a professional orchestra you have to be good. VERY good indeed. You have to audition against people who might have been studying and practising for 15-20 years and who have gone through music college with first-class teachers. You do not mention specifically whether or not you have violin lessons with a professional teacher. If you do not, then you have almost no hope whatsoever of achieving the technique and skills to compete against these people. Assuming you are having lessons, if you are at Grade 5, you have many years to go before you can think of auditioning (or even being offered an audition). Those going for the professional jobs will be a diploma level or even beyond that and so you have to be at least as good as them.
