How do I become a New York Inter-Group office phone or call-forwarding volunteer?
The schedule for phone volunteer orientations in the Inter-Group office is: Monday between 9:00am and 1:00pm; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 6:00pm and 9:00pm; and Saturday between 1:30pm and 6:00pm. No appointment is necessary during these hours. Members who are unable to attend scheduled orientations can call an Inter-Group staff member (212-647-1680) to arrange a convenient time. An orientation takes approximately 30 minutes. Members who want to answer Inter-Group’s phones in their homes via call-forwarding are also required to receive an orientation.
