How do I become a member of Gamma Gamma Chi Sorority?
Gamma Gamma Chi is committed to high academic standards for membership, and expects each of its members currently enrolled at colleges and universities to exemplify that commitment through classroom attendance and performance. The philosophy for attaining high academic achievement was established by our founders. For membership in the sorority, women must have completed a college degree or be pursuing work leading to at least a baccalaureate degree. Students are eligible for membership after they have completed one semester at an accredited college or university. A cumulative minimum grade point average of 3.2 on a 5.0 grading scale, 2.5 on a 4.0 grading scale, or a 1.5 on a 3.0 grading scale is required for acceptance as an incoming member. Membership is open to Muslim women and non-Muslim women who support our mission and successfully complete all phases of the intake process. Other requirements are explained in detail during the Gold Presentation (informational meeting) and Probatio
