How do I become a better runner in 1 day?
There’s no way to become MUCH better in one day, but there are ways you can acheive your best case scenario: 1. Get a nice sleep the night before, and DON’T practice running (because then tomorrow you would be tired and sore) 2. Eat breakfast- eggs and toast are good (carbs and protein are what you’re after) 3. Make sure to keep yourself hydrated through the day, but don’t drink liquids with alot of sugar or caffeine (water is good, fruit punch and coffee are bad. 4. Right before you run, don’t drink too much water, you don’t want cramping. 5. If you are running with classmates, pick someone decent and try to pace them. 6. When your lungs start to hurt, slow down or walk, but don’t stop completely unless you feel that you may faint. Try not to let the person you are trying to pace get too much ahead of you.
