How do I avoid the security warning when opening Catalyst with Access 2003?
Microsoft Access® 2003 employs what it refers to as “sandbox” mode to block macros and code that may harm your computer. To avoid the security warning, it is necessary to either turn-off sandbox mode or code-sign the front-end database with a digital certificate. To avoid the security warning with Full Editions of the software, you can turn-off sandbox mode by changing the macro security setting to Low or use another version of Microsoft Access. If you do not intend to modify the front-end database, you can request a code-signed database by contacting Catalyst Manufacturing Support. If you have customized the front-end database, this service is provided at a nominal fee. When first opening a digitally signed database Microsoft Access 2003, you will be prompted with a security warning indicating
