How do I avoid having static electric shock whenever I touch something during winter?
You are wearing synthetic clothes rather than natural clothing. Plastics produce static electricity very easily, while wool and cotton don’t. Your shoes are probably rubber-heeled too, so you don’t get grounded. Some people put some copper tape on the inside of their shoes, and continue it up the inside of the heel, over the top and down the outside, and then along the bottom of the shoe. This grounds the body, but it looks strange!
