How do I assemble a request for approval? What supporting documentation is needed?
The website has a standard request form that can be printed out and mailed/delivered with your supporting documentation. The website also has a sample submittal shown to help you understand what kind of information is useful. Ideally, we need a site plan showing the house on your lot with the location of proposed addition/shed/pool/fence/etc. If you are constructing an addition to your home (porch/deck/sun room/etc.) then the ACC would like to see an elevation view of the proposed construction (these are usually provided by the contractor). Pre-fab construction may also have color photos available that would be beneficial. In all cases, the ACC would like to know your plans for the colors to be used. If the information provided is insufficient for review then the ACC will contact you by phone. Be advised however, that insufficient information may further delay your approval.
