How do I ask for an item from one of the other DU Libraries to be sent to my library (requests/holds)? What if I am an online student and never come to a DU location physically?
If the item you want is not located at a Davenport University library near you, you can request online that the item be sent to your campus library or make special arrangements to have the materials delivered directly to you if you do not attend any DU campus. Click on the “Request” button while in either the search results list or the full record of the item. At the window, select the Davenport campus library where you wish to pick-up the item, enter any comments and enter your borrower barcode or your student ID number. A request will be sent to the Davenport library owning the item and the item will be mailed to your pickup library. When your item has arrived at the pickup point, that campus library will notify you. If you need the item sent to you, choose the pickup location “No Library” and in the Comment box include a phone number or e-mail address for the libraries to contact you about where to send it. You will be responsible for the return postage and any fines if the item is
