There is no formal mechanism for arranging these placements. Doctors must arrange observer status themselves by writing directly to the hospitals of their choice. Applications should be addressed to the Speciality Clinical Director or the Postgraduate Clinical Tutor (if it is a teaching hospital). Applications should include a letter explaining why you wish to arrange an attachment and a copy of your curriculum vitae (CV).
