How do I apply to live in a Sheltered Housing Scheme?
Our sheltered housing schemes are let through North Norfolk District Councils Choice Based Lettings Scheme Your Choice Your Home. To apply for sheltered housing through this scheme you must be registered by completing the Your Choice Your Home application form, which is available online or a paper form can be requested from North Norfolk District Council. For more information on the Your Choice Your Home scheme, or for an application, you can contact North Norfolk District Council’s housing team on 01263 516375 or emailing housing@north-norfolk.gov.uk. Supporting People Charges Since April 2003, we have been required to charge our sheltered housing residents an amount for the support services they receive. The main element of this charge relates to the cost of providing the alarm pull system and sheltered housing officer services.
