How do I apply for the Summer following the Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 terms?
Most students are offered their full financial aid for the academic year during the Fall and Spring terms. If a student wishes to attend summer terms, a portion of the Fall/Spring aid offered may be declined to allow for eligibility. Once a student enrolls in a summer term, he or she must bring a copy of his/her schedule to the financial aid office and complete a summer financial aid data sheet. What is the Cost of Attendance (COA) at JSU? The Cost of Attendance varies from year to year. The current Cost of Attendance for Fall 2009 & Spring 2010 is $19,874.00 for students living off campus, $14,360.00 for students living on campus and $14,997.00 for students living with a relative or parent. The dollar amounts listed are based on tuition charges (full time, in-state status), books/supplies, room/board, transportation and personal expenses. If a student has out-of -state tuition charges, he or she may contact the Office for increases in the Cost of Attendance. These costs are estimates
