How do I apply for the MAAL (Hons) if Ive already done the MAAL?
You can apply for the MAAL (Hons) right from the start if you are anticipating doing both 48 credit points of coursework and a thesis. However if you do not meet the Distinction average requirement you will exit with the MAAL degree. We advise students to apply for the regular MAAL program, and then once they know they have successfully completed all requirements, then apply for the MAAL (Hons). All 48 credit points of coursework will carry over to the MAAL (Hons), and then you only need to complete the 24 credit point Dissertation Component – LING600. If you have completed the MAAL Degree and you are applying for the MAAL (Hons) Dissertation Component only then you will need to complete a Thesis Proposal Form and lodge this with your Online Application.
