How do I apply for the Food and Nutrition Services Program?
To apply for benefits, or for information about the Food and Nutrition Services Program, contact your local food stamp office at Cumberland County Department of Social Services, (910) 323-1540 between the hours of 7:30 – 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. We are located at 1224 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28302. Please provide the following information at the time of application: Some form of Identification, the telephone number of your landlord and rent receipt if renting. Verification of your resources; such as automobile, bank accounts, stocks, bonds, etc.; mortgage payment and property taxes, income for the previous month you apply, and your utility bills. Other information will be asked for if needed during the interview process.
