How do I apply for North Carolina Geological Survey graduate student grants?

Because of budget cutbacks in August 2002, no further funds are available to support student grants. Previously, a nominal amount of student grant funding was available to help geology graduate students offset a portion of their thesis or dissertation research costs associated with the completion of a thesis or dissertation. Many of these completed theses and dissertations are held in the working libraries of the North Carolina Geological Survey offices (Archdale and Coastal Plain offices [Raleigh], and the Swannanoa office [Asheville area]).
